    Thanks for replyingto myquestion.  Ihad already tried to do that and had no luck. Do you have any other suggestions?

    What fixed it for me after following advise posted on this subject was quite simple

    1. Go to "Settings"
    2. Select "Cortana"
    3. Select "Permissions & History"
    4. Select " Manage the information Cortana can access from this device" (This is in Blue font)
    5. Then de-select (switch off) "Contacts, email, calendar and communications history"

    SAME ISSUE HERE

    ive tried the last response:

    What fixed it for me after following advise posted on this subject was quite simple

    1. Go to "Settings"
    2. Select "Cortana"
    3. Select "Permissions & History"
    4. Select " Manage the information Cortana can access from this device" (This is in Blue font)
    5. Then de-select (switch off) "Contacts, email, calendar and communications history"

     now to see if it fix's the problem...

    Seriously??????  That's your answer?  The usual pathetic response from MS moderators and agents?  Do a clean install? Wipe everything out?  Start over?  

    How about you idiots fix the issues with your stupid software instead?  

    What is this???? The ONLY think you people EVER suggest to users is to do clean install...for EVERYTHING.

    What that tells me is MS doesn't know how to fix its own crap.
