If this is the fix, why am I getting network connection is the problem?

I figured out the problem. but still have a couple of registry issues that kind of allowed me to use a game I have never been able to use on a windows computer till now. I'm learning though. use the malicious software removel tool on Microsoft. com, use you disk clean and clean the system files. in order to clean up system files you have to hit the button on the disk clean up program then it will repopulate itself with system files. some of the things preventing the update are located in certain system files like dumps caused by updates. then run a scan with windows defender then use the diagnostic tools to diagnose any other problems on your computer. if your computer is missing any of the info then go to the Microsoft webpage and usually they have downloads to fix your issues. if that doesn't help then you might have to ask for assistance from a tech. funny thing is I just talked to one that went to college and I had to fix some stuff on his computer. he got rid of a lot of the diagnostic tools that help his update run.
