    Hi All,

When you submit a feedback item, we gather additional details and information about your issue that will help determine what’s causing it and address it. Feedback items regularly receive Microsoft responses on the submissions in the Feedback app so you can see what we are doing about your feedback. Please revisit frequently to see the status of your feedback items.

For more information onFeedback Hub, see our support articleand YouTube video

In order to submit new feedback, please follow these steps:

    1.      On a Windows 10 device, search for “Feedback Hub” in Cortana search, then launch the app.

    2.      Navigate to Feedback in the left menu, then press + Add new feedback.

    3.      Select the Problem, and share any details you think are relevant, and choose an appropriate category and subcategory.

    4.      Important: If possible, reproduce the problem(s) after clicking Begin monitoring (or Start capture) near the end of the form; Stop monitoring when you’re done.

    5.      Once you’ve completed the form and monitoring, click Submit.

    6.      Click  Continue using Feedback Hub.

    7.      Click My Feedback at the top, then find the item you submitted (it may take a while to appear).

    8.      Open the item you submitted, then click  Share.

    9.      Click Copy link, then paste the link in your response (it will look like https://aka.ms/<uniquelink>)

EDIT 11/13/17 - We are unlocking this thread to allow users to supply us with their Feedback hub links and will re-lock the thread when we have those replies.

I Can't updatge Defender spyware and virus definitions

    REPOSTING

When did Windows Defender (WD) update? What virus definitions are currently installed? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/definitions/antimalware-definition-release-notes

See Troubleshoot Windows Defender Update Issues in Windows 10

The behavior you are describing may occasionally occur if another antivirus program is installed or there are remnants of a third party antivirus program still installed.

See the Answer of quietman7 - MVP  in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/protect_defender-protect_updating/windowsdefender-wont-turn-on/c502c63f-2ffe-4cfd-8b6b-bdfd086cfae0

If the issue continues you may want to try the steps recommended in Problems starting Windows Defender in Windows 8/8.1/10 to include (but not necessarily limited to) running SFC, scanning for malware and running the software removal tools for any security software (AVG, Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton, whatever) that may have previously been on the computer (to include a trial version of McAfee or Norton that might have been on the computer when it was new) followed by a reboot:  List of anti-malware product removal tools

    Or

If WD still does not update, wait a few hours and try again to manually update the program….remember WD normally should automatically update every 24 hrs if an update is available and the program needs to be updated.

    Alternatively - - -

You may prefer to install a third party antimalware program (which should disable Windows Defender).
