Yesterday the game worked fine, but now today on July 7th when I launch the game to play, I get the error message saying "check your account" when my account is fine, so I tried to restart the PC and didn't worked, then when I uninstall the game to reinstall, I can't reinstall it because it keeps giving me the same error message with this error code: 0x803F8001. I even runned wsreset.exe to clear the cache, restore the Windows store to default and restarted the PC again, but nothing worked. I can install other apps and games with no problem.
Any help would be appreciated, please.

Solved my Problem ... wsreset - logout Store account (used normal an in game) logged in with my Company Account - download Asphalt with that account (never done before !!!!) got license - after download logged in Store with own account - start game and loaded Cloud data ... worked !
the main Problem is the store and the account - simply get a new ms account for tempoary download and use your own account after download to start an Play game ... have fun ... best greetz eddl69
I have this problem yesterday too.
After you re-installed A8, after you enter your age and it starts to load you up with some cars, it should have asked you do you want to keep your local data or your cloud data. You click on Cloud Data and it should re-store your data. If you clicked on Local Data instead, eeeehhh .. you are kinda up the the creek. You might want to contact GL and see if they can re-store you.
Just like a I said, guys. **Do not do anything by yourself.**There is no guarantee that whatever you are doing will fix the problem. It works for some, but for others it does not. The best thing to do is wait for an official response. So we will have guarantees of restoration in case something goes wrong...
I did the fix, and the game works now, but it has reset my Level to 1, and all my tokens, credits are now 0. I went to settings and hit Restore Purchases, and it gave me back the Car Packs I bought a while ago, but I'm still Level 1 and all of my Career Mode levels are now locked and I have to start at level 1! After so much time playing this game, money, and many, many levels unlocked, I'm upset this happened.
How do I get it to sync everything back?
