Yesterday the game worked fine, but now today on July 7th when I launch the game to play, I get the error message saying "check your account" when my account is fine, so I tried to restart the PC and didn't worked, then when I uninstall the game to reinstall, I can't reinstall it because it keeps giving me the same error message with this error code: 0x803F8001. I even runned wsreset.exe to clear the cache, restore the Windows store to default and restarted the PC again, but nothing worked. I can install other apps and games with no problem.

Any help would be appreciated, please.

Solved my Problem ... wsreset - logout Store account (used normal an in game) logged in with my Company Account - download Asphalt with that account (never done before !!!!) got license - after download logged in Store with own account - start game and loaded Cloud data ... worked !

the main Problem is the store and the account - simply get a new ms account for tempoary download and use your own account after download to start an Play game ... have fun ... best greetz eddl69

    Ok here is the solution:

    1. Uninstal Asphalt 8 - this can be done by right clicking the icon in the start menu.
    2. Open Windows store.
    3. Sign out - this is done by clicking your user avatar, then your user name and finally sign out.
    4. Close store and reopen, sign in again and begin download.
    5. When installation is complete, load game
    6. When asked - choose to keep cloud data, NOT local. choosing local will reset your game and you'll start from zero! This can be verified by checking the stats of both options.

    Best of luck!

    Hello,

I tried a lot of things, but all of the stuff above dose not work. In the www I found this:

    Link

Open cmd as Admin and Do shutdown -g -t

After that the downloads are working and I got more updates in the list then before.

    Kind regards, Tim
