Yesterday the game worked fine, but now today on July 7th when I launch the game to play, I get the error message saying "check your account" when my account is fine, so I tried to restart the PC and didn't worked, then when I uninstall the game to reinstall, I can't reinstall it because it keeps giving me the same error message with this error code: 0x803F8001. I even runned wsreset.exe to clear the cache, restore the Windows store to default and restarted the PC again, but nothing worked. I can install other apps and games with no problem.
Any help would be appreciated, please.

Solved my Problem ... wsreset - logout Store account (used normal an in game) logged in with my Company Account - download Asphalt with that account (never done before !!!!) got license - after download logged in Store with own account - start game and loaded Cloud data ... worked !
the main Problem is the store and the account - simply get a new ms account for tempoary download and use your own account after download to start an Play game ... have fun ... best greetz eddl69
Yes, it's something with Gameloft/Microsoft, may be with Microsoft because the error code seems to have connection Store. And talking about Gameloft, I once for some reason visited one and saw good response there. Anyways, we'll have to wait to hear from officials. And if this is a issue of Gameloft, I think they will clarify the situation in their website.

whats going on with asphalt 8 error code cant load game contacted Microsoft and no help don't know what else to do.
That's strange, Because I have played this game for a long time and never faced this. Is this happening after last update? I have not this installed in my PC now. I'll install and see what happens.

I don't know if it's just Asphalt 8 Airborne. I've never had this error.
I have the app on desktop and laptop. Currently on laptop that does NOT have the creators update so that's not it either. I checked my win 10 updates and nothing since yesterday so that's not it. I did try to launch another Gameloft game "Asphalt 7 .." and it started to come up and crashed. I uninstalled it thinking maybe it was a conflict but did no good.
It's Microsoft/Asphalt aka GAMELOFT or something - not us.

I mentioned hackers because Asphalt is LOADED with them - if you play it you know. I don't know what's going on. As far as asking Gameloft for support Yeah right big joke as everyone knows. their customer service is HORRID. guess just have to wait and see if a Microsoft REP/TECH answers.. thanks for reply
