I've been playing Solitare, Mahjong, Minesweeper, Taptiles, Jigsaw, and Sudoku daily for a long time. Starting yesterday afternoon with Minesweeper, I'm getting a "currently not available in your account" error from some of them. I tried uninstalling Minesweeper and now I cannot re-download for the same reason (it errors when trying to acquire the license from the Windows store). Today, Mahjong and Jigsaw started with the same behavior. As of right now, the only games that will load are Solitare, Taptiles and Sudoku. Xbox app loads fine. The store is able to download and install other apps and games without a problem. Everything else appears to be working fine.
This is on a first generation Surface Book (i5/256/dGPU), all current updates installed (I'm on the creator's update build of Win10). I have a separate desktop PC I have yet to check to see if the problem exists there, too.
I have tried wsreset and a reboot, but I refuse to re-register the store via command line. The last time I tried that, my store ended up so broken I had to do a total OS refresh and reinstall all my software. I don't have time for that right now.

Hi zerospace -
Thanks for the feedback.
I spent 2 hours with Microsoft Support being passed from one "Helper" to another and ending up with a technician viewing and controlling my computer uninstalling Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, which I had updated to the purchased version 2 years ago, and trying unsuccessfully to reinstall it. I was told that the fault obviously lay at their end. Since then there has been no resolution to the problem. Come on Microsoft. Deal with this matter now.

This is good to know, thanks. Glad to hear that a MS tech also agrees that the fact that the games will NOT re-install (and fail at acquiring a license) would seem to indicate that the issue belongs to them, not us. I'm not monkeying with the accounts on my machines until directed by Microsoft to do so. Others may feel free to do what they must to fix this, but don't be shocked if you screw something else up in the process. No game is worth risking wasting a full day having to re-install windows and all my software (on a computer that I need to actually do real work) to "fix".
MS, this is getting ridiculous. I realize we just came off a weekend here in the states, so I expect a resolution to this in the very near future.
My affected games again are: Minesweeper (started here), Mahjong (still running on 1 of 2 PCs), Taptiles, and Jigsaw.
And... it appears to be fixed. All my games are loading on both PCs now (I've done NOTHING). As of this post, I've successfully loaded up (actually launched and ran) all of my MS games on both of my PCs. No more errors. Minesweeper finally acquired a license through the store and was able to re-install on my Surface Book.
I'd say this is proof that this was Microsoft's problem all along. Check your games, everyone & good luck! =)
Well. The point that I decided to reinstall MS Mahjong several days ago. Since uninstall I cannot get it from MS Store with Code: 0x803F8001 (last checked a minute ago). So maybe it works for you - but for me not because Store returns the error.
