After updating to the Creators Update, mykeyboard has been lagging, with a few seconds of normal typing, there are significant delay where keystrokes will not register.
Have already checked for updated drivers and troubleshooted, both to no avail.

If it's wireless, get a usb extension cable, and plug the receiver into that so you can position it closer to the keyboard itself. Had a dekstop box on side of desk and the signal from usb port there just wasn't strong enough so quite a delay from typing a character to it's appearance on screen.......this resolved it.
Thanks, but this is more of a "hack" than a solution. The usual range of these is 10m, my one is below my desk. Perhaps you had some interference at that spot, not sure.
More and more I start to think, that this is some kind of software freeze, especially because the symptoms getting worse when you play resource-needy games.
I share the same problem with many of the commenting individuals here. My laptop keyboard stops responding after 1 second of responding, and it stops responding for about a second before it starts to respond again. In other words, 1 second of responding, then 1 second of NOT responding, then responding again, in a cycle and at a very regular pace.
This issue renders the keyboard very useless. Any external keyboard (including Bluetooth keyboards) works excellently; it's just the laptop keyboard that has the issue.
I tried reinstalling the keyboard and all its components, uninstalling Norton Antivirus, toggling various basic keyboard settings, starting the computer in safe mode, and installing all the recommended updates from the Dell website. I can't roll back system updates because I just bought this computer, so it has no history. I bought it refurbished.

It took me forever to type this comment...hitting the keys over and over again, correcting mistakes, and I am ready to throw Windows 10 out the window!

In control panel > Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center > Set up Repeat and Slow Keys
The setting "How long do you want to hold down a key before your computer accepts the keystroke?"
It was somehow set to 1 second. I changed it back to 0. I did not change this so I think something screwy in Windows 10 made that change.
