Windows 10 SmartScreen- "check apps and files" options greyed out

In Windows Defender settings the options for "check apps and files" are greyed out.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am running Windows 10 Pro X64, Version 1703, OS Build 15063.296

    Hi Mayon,

    If Windows Defender is still running after installing a third party security program, you can manually turn it off by following the steps provided on this support article.

    Note: Scheduled scans will continue. However, files that are downloaded or installed will not be scanned.

    Let us know should you need further assistance.

    Windows Defender will be automatically disabled if there's a third party security application installed on your computer. For us to diagnose the issue, we would like to know if you have a third party security app installed on your computer.

    Installed Eset internet security 10 but windows defender is still up and running. ?????????

    Trying to figure out to disable defender.

    However may be they can be complementary to each other not sure.

    But it will surely affect the performance of my PC.

    Running OS Win 10 1703 build 15063.608
