In Windows Defender settings the options for "check apps and files" are greyed out.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I am running Windows 10 Pro X64, Version 1703, OS Build 15063.296

While this does resolve the issue sort of it doesn't address why the option is grayed out which was the point of the post initially. I do thank you for your efforts for sure and perhaps they can find the bug with your information if they choose to search for it that is. If Microsoft would just say this has been disabled because of so and so reason people would know what is going on but since they don't communicate some stuff very well we will be left wondering.
