Whatsapp stuck on loading screen - Windows phone 10

hi i recently updated whatsapp on my phone and now its stuck on loading screen even though i restarted and hard reset my phone. Any suggestion to solve this issue.

    Judging by the growing number of reports about the same issue on different devices and different OS versions it seems like this is a problem with the app itself. I would recommend you contact Whatsapp support with a detailed description of the problem and the troubleshooting steps you have taken so far, this would help them resolve the matter quicker. They were quite good in dealing with the previous issue of this type and issued an update fixing the problem. Clearly something else is broken now.

    Maybe the problem is related to some whatsapp glitches but I think this involves other common components: other apps based on silverlight are stuck on loading screen. All UWP apps are working fine.

    Third party apps need to be fixed by their developers, common components or not.

    Sure but at the moment the root cause seems to be unknown. To me, it looks like an OS side problem on some shared components at silverlight level.

    Debating it here will not resolve anything, writing to Whatsapp will. Have you done that in the meantime ?
