Whatsapp stuck on loading screen - Windows phone 10

hi i recently updated whatsapp on my phone and now its stuck on loading screen even though i restarted and hard reset my phone. Any suggestion to solve this issue.

    There is nothing new with that build. Same apps same issues.

    Ok, thanks a lot, that solution seems to be working. A little bit annoying to reinstall the system and replace all the tiles etc… But it’s worth it.

    Hope this won’t happen again !

    Yes! It worked for me too!

    My phone would not open whatsapp, spotify, and a few other apps (a unity game, FM radio player, a fitness app) although none of the default microsoft apps (that I use) had the problem. 

    Strangely, Flipboard worked without problem so I suppose it is not related to the apps not being from microsoft.

    I tried reinstalling the apps, uninstall-restart-reinstall, soft-reset, hard-reset, hard-reset without reinstalling from backup and none of these options worked. Finally, using the WDRT fixed it for me!

    I hope it will stay like that now because I don't want to go through this again...
