Malicious Software Removal Tool in Win10 Home won't run
I am running Windows 10 Home 64bit. I used to run the Malicious Software Removal Tool, but, all of a sudden, it doesn't run any more.
I've downloaded the most up to date version available from the MS website.
I've tried running it as Admin as well.
But, the tool just doesn't run.
Any ideas, please?

I've tried that and I get a message:
"This app has bee blocked by your system administrator. Contact your system administrator for more info."
I am the Administrator, so, I don't understand why this message is being displayed.
I was downloading this tool and running it manually.
I was happily running this tool, and now all of a sudden, it's stopped working,

Are you typing in MRT to the run box after right clicking the start menu and selecting run?

2017-06-12T20:25:21+00:00 Hi,
In Windows 10 a new Malicious Software Removal Tool is downloaded and installed by automatic update each month and it runs silently in the background and only notifies you if it detects an infection. For more info and instructions follow the link below, you can also manually download the tool from this page if that's what you want or need to do.
Hope this helps,
