Windows 7 annoying "Unsupported Hardware" pop ups

Gates retired a while back, definitely before Windows 10, probably even before Windows 8. Things at Microsoft have changed a little since he left.

Hard to believe it could get worse w/o Gates. 8 & 10 makes it look like there was a MS civil war and the nerds won.

My Kaby Lake still runs fine w/windows 7. A little trouble finding the landmines at first. So much for MS fearware.

MS why not do a update for 7 or write a basic post 7 os without all the unnecessary crap in 10 and allow users to control when updates are downloaded and installed.

So far I can do 90% of my usual work in Linux and maybe 75% in Mac, but the problem for the other os is the inability to run pc applications natively. It doesn't look like ReactOS will happen in my lifetime. In the future if the only choice is running 10, I will switch to other Linux software and abandon what I have now.

I started getting this much more recently.  I didn't find either of the updates listed before so instead I started looking at my most recent ones.  Seems I was first time lucky, I uninstalled KB4095874 and so far it hasn't popped up again.  It was installed 6/1/18

I'm guessing microsoft is catching on and progressively releasing new patches that do the same thing.  Honestly I'd have even tolerated it if it wouldn't keep bothering me about it.  It kept booting me out of games and videos

This is typical MS BS.  I am currently on Windows 10 on my work computer and my home computers.  But we have clients who are still on Windows 7.  Now  I'm not saying that I have a problem with Windows 10, its far better than the complete and utter disaster that was Windows 8, but we shouldn't be forced to prematurely migrate over a machine when Windows 7 is still in support, that is completely ridiculous, this update affects one of our clients, and we plan on moving them to Windows 10 but this kind of thing takes time, many of the people that work at this business are older folks, when we switched them over to 7 from XP it required a dedicated rep for two weeks just to go around and do periodic training of all the users.  It seems that what  MS doesn't realize that this affects more than just the users, it affects IT staff as well.  This all started because we updated someone's computer with a newer i7 and a couple of other things because she was having issues.  I just wish that there was something else out there for people to use to put this giant greedy corporate pig known as MS in its place, unfortunately there isn't anything mainstream.  There is Mac, but I mean come one, we are talking business and machines, not overpriced hipster toys, and while Linux is superior to MS in most ways, there is no way it will catch on outside of the techie or specialized application market, at least my opinion.  There is a point in here somewhere, I suppose its that MS just doesn't care, and unfortunately they don't have to, they are a giant corporate machine, everyone on this thread could swear off of MS products for the rest of our lives and they wouldn't even notice, the current CEO of MS could come on to this forum right now tell us all to **** off and post a picture of a giant picture of his middle finger, and it would affect MS sales exactly zero percent, its basically a legalized monopoly.  All we can do is bend over, offer some lube, and hope they use it as they insert that giant MS shaft.

There's a KB 401 that shows up as installed, but can't be uninstalled. look for yourself & msg me if you have a solution pls. 4019264

As far as I am concerned MicroShaft You and Windows 10 can go play with yourself.

Nobody gave notice of this not Fu@#Ing Intel not Fu^&* Microshaft. and not AMD or Asus. Sorry **** but you just lost me to LINUX UBUNTU!! Thanks for giving me a good enought reason!
