I, just like most users hate Windows 10 for so many issues and bugs. It has usability issues and so many problems that Windows support team chooses ignore despite multiple complaints. Microsoft knows this very well but they keep hush about all this. Now to add to it, Windows 7 (the best OS so far) keeps giving a warning that my Intel Core i7 (7700k) processor is not supported.
I'm sorry but Windows 10 is officially the **** and buggiest product I've ever used. And I'm never going to switch to it until every problem has been fixed. Please do something about these annoying "unsupported processor" pop ups. If this is not resolved soon I'm going to write an entire blog about this and I'm sure there are many users who feel the same. Now this is not a small issue and I suggest to take this at the highest priority.
Every user should be allowed to use whatever version of Windows that suits their needs and is comfortable to use.

Update (Patch) KB4093113 must also check that the generation of your processor is compatible with Windows 7 and generate a message if it isn’t. I’m running Window 7 on an 8th generation Intel processor and I got the “Unsupported hardware” pop up after installing this patch. Uninstalling this patch and manually updating Windows seems to fix the problem.
You can get updates by plugging the OS drive to another pc with "supported" hardware. This proves that the processors are not unsupported, it is just Microsoft being consumer-unfriendly as usual.
Dont need it, I only have one computer on Windows for the last severalmonths, for flight simand only flight sim, everything else is linux
I agree with you that M$ should simply roll out a new version of 7, especially when I hear
news that maybe Windows 10 is the last Windows release.
I recently bought a new laptop that has 10 pre-installed on it. I do not like how Win 10 worked,
after silencing Cortana and other features that hog my processing time - still finds me longing
for good 'ol Win 7.
Maybe Windows 10 is the last Windows release, because I would be moving on to Linux very,
very soon. :) hehehe
Good choice, Microsoft is not interested in customer service, they are only interested in forcing you to buy crap that doesnt work well and requires you to learn a whole new way of doing things, talk about wasting productivity. Those guys are very poor decision making programmers as to how they do business. You can use wine for many windows programs. The only thing I have found that requires windows that in the past I couldnt do without was flight sim, for all research I am on Linux. Recently I found xplane and that simulator is every bit as good as flight so here in the near future that dedicated computer will be on linux as well and Windows will be out of my life. If you have never used Linux before the internet documents it very very well. You should start, in my opinion, with Ubuntu as I feel it is the easiest to use in that the on board programs it has available are numerous and cover just about all areas of what you might want to do...Good Luck.
