Windows 7 annoying "Unsupported Hardware" pop ups

About two months ago it was necessary for me to replace my  processor which I did with an Intel 7Gen.  I made certain that whatever processor I was going to buy was compatible with Windows 7 which I refused to upgrade from.  I spent several times to servicemen  at both Best Buy and Fry's electronics to ensure I would have no problem.   Every person I talk to him guaranteed there were no compatibility issues . Once the installation was complete my computer ran like new... no issues no problems ... I was in heaven. 

 I am not a tech,  what I  do you know I have learned on my own... I do not spend half my life  in search of  every technology update.  I don't Twitter my life away and suffice it to say  microsoft's previous announcement went unnoticed by me.

 My  comment/question/ complaint is this:  when my new processor was installed everything worked fine  until Microsoft blocked any and all updates.    I'm furious .  Just how arrogant does Microsoft have to become before something is done ?  Yes I know the size and the financial value of the company but this is pretty much overkill and ****

It is still blocking any updates, critical or not.  And no one from M$ has explained what I am still missing, which has me extremely upset.  I can delete the last couple of updates starting with the one that first denied service, but, as I have noted, what the hell is in what I am deleting and how important is it.  As a user or M$ since Windows 3.0, I think I deserve to know these things.

And I have yet to hear any "flurry of activity" coming from anyone, M$, Intel, MSI, Asus, Corsair, EVGA, all of which made money on me and all of which refuse to warn the consumer that W7 and W8 are no longer being supported by M$.

I've tried several of the so called fixes and nothing is working.  Deleting the mentioned files will stop the annoying pop up, but you still can no longer download any updates.  This is disturbing, especially knowing how many holes M$ has always had in their software, with maybe the exception of 7 and xp.

Not getting on you ElderN, I'm just pissed at Gates, again.

And besides, aren't we on the stinkin M$ website?  You'd think someone at MS would at least acknowledge the problem and let us know what's going on.  Are they trying to fix it, is it on purpose, what are we missing???  If I dumped on my home buyers like Gates dumps on his customers, I'd been out of business 30 years ago.

The date on that topic is over a month ago so it might be true.

I believe the issue of MS blocking Windows Update on certain higher end configurations is true and after that "update" was revealed there was a flurry of activity about how to undo the update, work around it, disable it, hack it, etc.  Lots of ideas.

I don't know what the solutions or workarounds for the problem are this week though.

I don't have a way to test any of that stuff so I think I should just stay out of areas where I can't reproduce and see the problem myself and figure out what an optimal solution might be.
