Total time is wrong for Microsoft Solitaire Event Challenges

Hi,

I'm on page 5 and there's nothing...sorry.....except for the message, where you told you had been playing and will return later.....can't wait what you come up with this time...will wait impatiently... ;)

Now I have another problem...so time doesn't matter anymore, it seems and very sad to say......

Xbox won't log me in. Error-code 1170000

Something has happened. (yes, I erased xbox live and xbox one from the pc with Ccleaner...;-/ I was so so frustrated!

Then I made a recovery...turned back time and erased until 14 of January 2019.

I got my game back but can't access this xbox...it's something with the account, I think....I use another adress than outlook..and outlook has accepted my socalled local adr. as a microsoft account...and I can't change it back again in order to access xbox...damn.....I can log into xbox.com....their site, without problems, but when I go back to the games.....it won't log me in.

meaning: I think it's the outlook.com they want...and not my webspeed.dk...but if I change anything (and you surely know all about that) you can't access your pc or mail..and a lot of other stuff...so, it's impossible to try and test and find out, that maybe this is the reason why, it won't accept me

Now I've played for about 10 months and for the first 3-4 months, I played as guest, as nobody told me I could join the game by logging in...and I don't remember, but I think I tried when I found out that this was a thing I should to to be able to take part of the competition..the results and all.... but it was impossible...I just let it...later it went ok and well.....I didn't freak that much about it, 'cause the game didn't matter as much to me then as it does now.

I just made a beautiful avatar few days ago ;)) ...and it's done for nothing. (a lil'lol)

I don't really dare but I would so love to start again from scratch.....delete Windows 10 and install again.....but there probably will be problems anyways..if not this, then something else....

Microsoft, Windows is hard work.

I've been all night trying to change my local mail into outlook..(outlook is there...it's just not mentioned as main-mail, and there's no options where I can change it back...)  sorry, for repeating myself....blame it on the late hours....

Oh, and then all these security mails and codes I had to fill.....just to change my password (which was never the intention..but somehow Microsoft thought so...and one step forward is 2 steps back...and I fought with codes and this'nThat....like a spinning-wheel.....oh what a fight for some games.

Must be hooked..... :-/  ;-)

page 4 has the copy & paste commands, to re register appX, did you try that it may fix log in.

Error code 1170000 I read this.  Other's seem to have had success, uninstall/reinstall MS Solitaire

Clear your cache and cookies (Win10)

  - Right-click on the start menu, click on "Run"

  - type "inetcpl.cpl"

  - A window for Internet Properties will appear.

  - Under "General" tab, look for "Browsing History" then a button for "Delete " (click on it)

  - "Delete Browsing History" will appear. Click on all of the check boxes, then click on "Delete"

- Close everything.

  - Try to open Solitaire.

  - IF you already have Internet Explorer open, on your keyboard, simultaneously hit on "Ctrl+Shift+Del".

  - "Delete Browsing History" will appear. Click on all of the check boxes, then click on "Delete"

  - Close everything.

  - Try to re-open Solitaire.

After the bottom line previous post could not start new line, so finish with 2nd post.

Try the clear cache & cookies thing.  See if you can log on without error.

When that's resolved do the copy & paste (page 4), for the time problem

https://community.microsoftcasualgames.com/   You can log in using your Windows password, if you don't remember it, they can retrieve or change it from log on page 'forgot pass'.  After logging support > chat > MS will help.  It might take a little time to find chat.

this is the best explanation so far.

Sometimes my time reflects the total time from starting the first puzzle to finishing the last puzzle, even though I have carefully closed the app when I left for several or more hours. On other days, my event time seems to be accurate. When I leave without solving all the boards, I always use the back arrow to return to the master solitaire window before closing the app. There is definitely a programming bug with regard to time tracking, but microsoft has a very sketchy track record for fixing program bugs. If you HAVE to use their programs, you HAVE to life with their problems.

Of course I wish they would listen and make improvements. On the other hand, on the days that I solve all the boards without a break, the bug is not so noticeable.

My peeve is all the unnecessary internet delays MS programs in to prolong their stupid commercials. Commercials for real products are OK. The commercials for more MS games are terrible. The long delays waiting for commercials to begin got me to spend $15 for Premium, but not to love microsoft.
