Windows 10 - Defender Offline Scan not working

Just got from Microsoft Tech Support two (2) opções to deal with it!

1. go to ps (powershell) and enter command : Start-MpWDOScan   result=NONE
2. make another Ms account (admin...) and try the OffLine Scan...     result = NONE !

Windows 10 is unable to start/load the Defender Offline Scanon the Settings, that´s it and

all the rest is working perfect ! ( hopefully...)

I´ve tried, by myself, the famous

SFC/Scannow and the  dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

results = NONE for both options !

I have o/b the Win10 version 1607 

( Windows Defender is fully updated and icon showing on task bar! )

Settings - Windows Defender - Offline  Scan -   NOT LOAD, NOT START, NOT REBOOTING, NOT SCANNING ( on Settings we read that 15 min are requested to wait for the OffLine Scan to complete!)

But after half an hour = NIL

With a USB Pen and rebooting pc from there NO PROBLEM !

Scan starts !, need to change boot order etc, etc, it´s not practical, and isn´t supposed to work like that!, The button on Defender - Settings is there for nothing or  what ?

But, can we Scan it to test is PC is clean before those ´vírus´ touch our machine?

So far received NO solutions to solve this Bug ! Any real sugestions ?

Same here. Also I can not figure it out for 4 months.

Same here. It doesn't work either. When Defender is clicked it just sits there and nothing happens ... it doesn't even restart. Whats the problem?
