Xbox One Wireless controller keeps disconnecting

Hello.

I recently bought a Xbox One Wireless controller with the PC wireless adapter.

The problem is... after I logon into Windows 10 the controller connects fine ONE TIME, then, after turning it off and then turning it on again, the controller connects (light stay still) for about 1 or 2 seconds and then the controller turns off again, I even can use it in those 1 or 2 seconds, showing that it successfully connected, but then it disconnects. The problem is only solved after I logoff and login again into Windows (don't need to do a full reboot).

My wired Xbox 360 controller works like a charm. Why do the next gen controller of Microsoft doesn't work well with a system developed by the same company? When I google it, it's problems all around. And judging by the behavior, it's a driver problem, not hardware, cause if it was a defective unit a simple logoff-login wouldn't fix it (and lots of other people wouldn't have similar problems).

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: link to the same post on the Feedback Hub: https://aka.ms/Phrwta so anyone passing by can easily enter and give a vote to the problem. Thanks!

Did all the troubleshooting as docace, but the problem persists.

It's even not recognizing the adapter after deleting it from the device manager, only showing "XBOX ACC". To make it work again I need to download a driver package from Microsoft site, and note that I have Windows 10 which MS site states:

    "Windows 10

For Windows 10, the most current drivers are pre-installed with the operating system and are automatically updated through the Xbox Accessories app."

My Windows 10 is v1607, my Xbox Controller is up to date and the controller have the same behaviour on my Dell Inspiron notebook with the same Windows 10 v1607.

Obviously this is not an isolated case and you should take this problem up to your superiors, as we've seem so far, this is a Microsoft software/driver problem related.

If there's any log that we could send to you, I'll be glad to provide.

    Thanks.

Yes. Tried uninstall and reinstall all related drivers - not a change.

Ok, Jomari. I already got that you went as far as you could helping us. Thanks for your time. Unfortunately the problem isn't fixed and I hope some heads at Microsoft take a look at this thread and forward the issue to the software engineering team or whoever could provide a permanent fix.
