Xbox One Wireless controller keeps disconnecting

Hello.

I recently bought a Xbox One Wireless controller with the PC wireless adapter.

The problem is... after I logon into Windows 10 the controller connects fine ONE TIME, then, after turning it off and then turning it on again, the controller connects (light stay still) for about 1 or 2 seconds and then the controller turns off again, I even can use it in those 1 or 2 seconds, showing that it successfully connected, but then it disconnects. The problem is only solved after I logoff and login again into Windows (don't need to do a full reboot).

My wired Xbox 360 controller works like a charm. Why do the next gen controller of Microsoft doesn't work well with a system developed by the same company? When I google it, it's problems all around. And judging by the behavior, it's a driver problem, not hardware, cause if it was a defective unit a simple logoff-login wouldn't fix it (and lots of other people wouldn't have similar problems).

    This fixed it.  I can't believe this bug has existed for 6 months. 

    uninstalled the driver under "human interface devices" in device manager

    restarted. 

    I can turn the controller off and on again without restarting. 

    this is  the procedure to produce this bug btw microsoft.

    connect wireless controller.  turn it off, or  let it turn off by itself, try to connect again.

    everyone is reporting a brief connection then an instant drop.

    didn't matter if installed the "Xbox Accessories" app, whether or not I stopped steam, rolled back drivers to before the creators update. nope. just what this  commenter in a thread finally figured out 6 months after a bug  was reported.  

    **** like this is why people get turned off of PC gaming. 

    Come on microsoft fix your **** please.

    I've found the solution to this problem.

    I bought the Xbox one controller wireless adapter and saw that every time I connected my controller it would power down after a few seconds. Recently, I've found out that with the new anniversary update you can connect controllers to your PC via Bluetooth. I opened settings and navigated to devices, then Bluetooth and other devices and held the pairing button above the Xbox logo until the logo continually flashed. Then, I clicked on "add Bluetooth or other device" and the controller showed up as a pair-able device.

    So far the controller hasn't powered off and is working fine, but the downside to this method is that the only way to power off your controller when you are not using it is to either remove the batteries/battery pack, or disconnect the controller using the Bluetooth menu.

    OK, I finally solved this problem which has already bothered me for half a year.

    I tried almost everything in this thread:

        closed Steam, not working;

        reinstall driver, not working;

        I don't have NVIDIA experience;

        etc...

    until, I disabled the internal bluetooth receiver (which in integrated with my motherboard) , and enabled the bluetooth receiver dongle which I bought from Amazon - windows only allow you to use one bluetooth at the same time, you can enable/disable them in device manager.

    now, my controller is working, perfectly. I don't need to restart anything.

    Hope this could help other people.

    All of us tried these things it doesnt do anything could you please try to solve the problem instead of saying :'this is your problem not mine ' and if many people have it its not the problem of one person .if we buy it and it doesnt work how it's supposed to work it is your problem becouse you sell it !
