Xbox One Wireless controller keeps disconnecting

Hello.

I recently bought a Xbox One Wireless controller with the PC wireless adapter.

The problem is... after I logon into Windows 10 the controller connects fine ONE TIME, then, after turning it off and then turning it on again, the controller connects (light stay still) for about 1 or 2 seconds and then the controller turns off again, I even can use it in those 1 or 2 seconds, showing that it successfully connected, but then it disconnects. The problem is only solved after I logoff and login again into Windows (don't need to do a full reboot).

My wired Xbox 360 controller works like a charm. Why do the next gen controller of Microsoft doesn't work well with a system developed by the same company? When I google it, it's problems all around. And judging by the behavior, it's a driver problem, not hardware, cause if it was a defective unit a simple logoff-login wouldn't fix it (and lots of other people wouldn't have similar problems).

Thanks in advance.

In my case it seems to be the Nvidia Geforce Experience. I updated it to the very last build today (3.5.0.69) and now it seems to work again.

What fixed it for me on Windows 10 with Xbox one wireless receiver/controller was that I went to device manager and noticed that the Unified Virtual HID device said something about driver not started because of signature etc. Tried a few things, none worked but what did was (click reboot while holding shift to turn of signature verification. After the reboot, back to device manager and the driver was installed and working. fired up a game and played 10 minutes or so and not a single disconnect, whereas before I did that it would always disconnect within 30 seconds.

    Hope it works for you.

I know everybody hate geforce experience, but I actually like it. Never had a problem before. But it's worth trying.

I'll try one more thing... Windows 10 has that Feeback Hub integrated. I'll try to repost the problem there and I hope someone could help or at least provide a fix in the future drivers.

How did you think to do this? Why would that have any impact? As far as I know, there is no detection of the gamepad with the experience.

Also not being able to autoupdate the drivers kinda sucks.
