Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Lost Worlds

Hello All,

Recently, I have had troubles with my Minecraft Windows 10 Edition freezing up every 20 or so minutes. Since this was a huge nuisance, I contacted Microsoft support and they told me to do some things, including uninstalling Minecraft W10E. I asked the person twice to make sure my worlds would not be erased, and they said that they would not. I come to find out that after uninstalling it and reinstalling it, my worlds, my skin, and my server saves were gone. Is there any way that I could retrieve those lost worlds? I am not concerned about the skin or the server saves, but I am the worlds. Please tell me what I need to do if it is possible to get my worlds back again.

To better help you with your concern about the missing world in the game Minecraft, we recommend that you follow the steps below:

How to recover missing Minecraft world:

  1. Click the start button and search %appdata%.
  2. Find and enter the .minecraft folder.
  3. Find the saves folder and right-click it, there should be an option called restore previous versions.

    I've tried to Restore my Worlds and I have no Luck. I've spent hundreds of hours of gameplay and I don't have access now. I had to reload the Minecraft Windows 10 edition twice cause I don't have access to any realms I part of.

    Hold down the windows key and press r. That will bring up a window to enter %appdata%

    what do you do if your hard drive changing was the reason your minecraft world(s) got deleted? That happened to me. Wouldn't wanna lose it, I found 4 villages(by traveling over 2000 blocks)! Also, the same world has a savefile, but it's before I found any of those villages. What do I do?
