How to stop syncing photos in camera roll..?

I had around 5000 pictures in my camera roll(Lumia 540) which were automatically uploaded in my onedrive folder. Recently due to low space, I have transferred all my pictures to my PC. But my phone is automatically downloading from onedrive and syncing.  Even though I stopped syncing, I tried deleting pictures from my phone also. 

How to stop my phone automatically download the pictures from one drive. ?

    Same issue. There is no camera upload selection in OneDrive settings. It appears to have syncs 1000's of photos I have in Google photos. I want to delete them all only in One Drive and retain in Google Photos

    Microsoft hasn't been too helpful in this regard. Having some password issues as well on one of my laptops; won't bother wasting anymore of my time with inept (or non-existent) "Microsoft" tech support; glad their authenticator works sometimes. I hope you get someone to offer good resolution.

    Never voluntarily connected iphone to One Drive. None of the recommendations have helped, most speak of settings and changes not available on pc, ipad onedrive app or pc. I cannot beat my phone upload to upload the photos to onedrive that I have put on my computer from an SD (a new step I had to add to try and circumvent this frustrating matter).

    I NEVER want my iphone or ipad photos to "sync" to a file in ONEDRIVE. I WANTED to choose from them to save in ONEDRIVE, but man, oh, man, this is costing WAY too much stress.

    Hello.

    We suggest you to Turn off camera upload to stop automatically upload photos and videos to OneDrive.

    1. In the OneDrive app, tap Menu Imagein the upper-left corner, then tap Settings Image.
    2. In the Settings box, tap Camera upload, then turn off Camera upload to stop automatically upload photos and videos to OneDrive.

    Let us know how it goes.

    i have set it on my phone to turn off auto uploading but onedrive is still auto uploading. onedrive auto-upload old photos are stored in my phone. Help me how to stop it? (google translate :D)
