Hi everyone,
My name is Mike Tholfsen, and I am a Principal Program Manager for Office 365 Education, here to talk about a special offer for all homeschoolers today.
On November 14, 2016, we started a pilot program to make Office 365 Education available to homeschoolers across the United States. This is a limited-time pilot to help us collect feedback and learn more on how key education tools like Class Notebook, Forms, and Microsoft Classroom can work better and empower home educators and homeschoolers in the comfort of their own home.
Due to overwhelming demand of the pilot, we have already fillled up our inital set of spots. We are trying to open up a few more in the coming weeks, but for now the pilot is closed.
If you’re already trying out the pilot and need help, we’ll be answering your questions right here, so please read on and post your inquires below.
How do I apply for the program?
To apply and learn more about the pilot program, visit Homeschool pilot program for Office 365 Education.
Am I eligible to apply?
Learn more on eligibility and how to apply by visiting Eligibility for the Office 365 Homeschool pilot program.
Is there any device requirement?
No, we are piloting this program across devices.
How do I get started with the pilot program?
To get started, we recommend you read Get started with the homeschool pilot program for Office 365 Education.
Thank you for your interest, we look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Mike

Hello,
I was accepted into the homeschool pilot program. When I applied, I signed up manually. The link in my email that notified me that I had been accepted takes me to a page where I must use a HSLDA ID. I don't have that ID. According to the acceptance email, if I signed up manually, I needed to establish a tenant account. Would someone please help me? Thank you.

Hi Angie,
I've heard from the engineer from our related team. They will send you some emails again to the contactable email address you provided in the private message. It may take some days for them to do this. Once I heard from them, I will let you know.
@Susi, I suggest you post a new thread at our forum to get dedicated support. Our engineers are always glad to help you.
Thanks,
Mouran
Our school was accepted into the pilot program and I received a unique link to set up our homeschool, but I am receiving an error. The screen print doesn't seem to be working, but it states that it is no longer offered, beta trial expired, etc. Is that because I didn't click on the link soon enough and now you are full? That is disappointing, because I wanted to explore this service and use it in January to teach a new technology class.
I've logged in to my admin portal and installed Microsoft Word into my tablet. I opened the app, signed in using my onmicrosoft. com account and tried to open the "take a tour" file. A message pops up saying "this account does not allow editing on your device".
What am I doing wrong? The same message is showing up on all Microsoft Office apps if I have logged in using the onmicrosoft account.
