Announcing: Homeschool pilot program for Office 365 Education

Hi everyone,

My name is Mike Tholfsen, and I am a Principal Program Manager for Office 365 Education, here to talk about a special offer for all homeschoolers today.

On November 14, 2016, we started a pilot program to make Office 365 Education available to homeschoolers across the United States.  This is a limited-time pilot to help us collect feedback and learn more on  how key education tools like Class Notebook, Forms, and Microsoft Classroom can work better and empower home educators and homeschoolers in the comfort of their own home.

Due to overwhelming demand of the pilot, we have already fillled up our inital set of spots.  We are trying to open up a few more in the coming weeks, but for now the pilot is closed.

If you’re already trying out the pilot and need help, we’ll be answering your questions right here, so please read on and post your inquires below.

How do I apply for the program?

No, we are piloting this program across devices.

    Can you send another mail to Office365 EDU Homeschool <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***> [sic] and explain your issue? We can try to get this fixed up

    Hello, 

    I received the acceptance into the program but when I click on the link it shows a page to sign up with the HSLDA ID.  I do not have an ID.  I signed up manually so I should have a link to set up a tenant account.  Hopefully you will be able to help me!

    I recently applied and was accepted to the Microsoft Office 365 Homeschool pilot program.  I clicked the link to set up my Office 365 and immediately received the following message:

    Sorry

    The service you’re subscribing to isn’t available for one of the following reasons:

    • It’s no longer offered by Microsoft.
    • You’ve already tried this service. You can sign up for a trial only once.
    • The beta or trial you’re requesting has expired.
    • The promotion code has already been used.

    For more information, contact the Microsoft partner that gave you the link to this offer.

    I'm not sure why I am receiving this message.  I emailed the person who sent me the original message and they replied with a link to this post to ask what I should do next.  I'm hoping you can give me this answer.  Thanks so much for any help you have to offer.  I'm looking forward to using this program with our children in our daily homeschooling.
