Windows Live Photo Gallery replacement

Does anyone have a replacement suggestion for Windows Live Photo Gallery? Been using it for a long time. Over 60,000 pictures all with tags. Had to do a clean install of Windows 10. When I went to reinstall Windows Live Photo Gallery it states that as Jan 10th, it's no longer supported and I cannot reinstall it. So what's out there that would recognize my tags? Tried ACDSEE but it doesn't see my tags. Was hopping that there would be a seamless switch as I'm not going to live long enough to re-tag 60000 pictures.

As of this morning, February 4, 2017,

Windows Essentials 2012 download offline installer (Microsoft site) is still available.

Windows Essentials 2012

Support Ended January 10, 2017

Although support has ended, Windows Essentials 2012 programs will continue to work.

Windows Essentials 2012 contains the following programs:

Photo Gallery (Windows Photo Gallery 2012 Build 16.4.3528.331)

Movie Maker (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3528.0331)

Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Mail (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3564.1216)

OneDrive

Windows Essentials 2012 Installer installs Windows Essentials 2012 Version 16.4.3528.0331

The package shows in installed programs as Windows Essentials 2012.

It would be wise to download and save a copy of Windows Essentials 2012 (Offline Installer) to a separate disk as backup.

    Considering the way Microsoft has been dumping Windows Mobile, the Microsoft Band, Groove, etc... etc.... I am more and more convinced Microsoft doesn't care about their private users.

    They are moving towards a kind of IBM-Oracle-..., providing IT-services to companies.

    For the time being, their shareholders appears to be happy, and that's the only thing that matters to the Microsoft management.

    I have the same issue as you. Thousands of tagged pictures. No idea to what system to migrate them.

    I haven't any problem with microsoft. I still use the Photo Gallery. (They gave me a link to download). I use with my whole family office 365. It works perfect. My kids are on school. And they use now everything. Word, Outlook, Excell, onedrive , Powerpoint etc. I've no problems. My most photoworks I do with Adobe Photo Shop.

    Jo, I, too, am happy with my Office suite. I am not happy with the prospect of having wasted hundreds of hours tagging photos or to have to repeat the process after being encouraged by Microsoft to use their tool to do so. I am still using WLPG, but the Geo tagging feature no longer works for new locations.  Whilst there is a work around, it is a pain.  And what else will stop working ?
