Windows Live Photo Gallery replacement

Does anyone have a replacement suggestion for Windows Live Photo Gallery? Been using it for a long time. Over 60,000 pictures all with tags. Had to do a clean install of Windows 10. When I went to reinstall Windows Live Photo Gallery it states that as Jan 10th, it's no longer supported and I cannot reinstall it. So what's out there that would recognize my tags? Tried ACDSEE but it doesn't see my tags. Was hopping that there would be a seamless switch as I'm not going to live long enough to re-tag 60000 pictures.

As of this morning, February 4, 2017,

Windows Essentials 2012 download offline installer (Microsoft site) is still available.

Windows Essentials 2012

Support Ended January 10, 2017

Although support has ended, Windows Essentials 2012 programs will continue to work.

Windows Essentials 2012 contains the following programs:

Photo Gallery (Windows Photo Gallery 2012 Build 16.4.3528.331)

Movie Maker (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3528.0331)

Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Mail (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3564.1216)

OneDrive

Windows Essentials 2012 Installer installs Windows Essentials 2012 Version 16.4.3528.0331

The package shows in installed programs as Windows Essentials 2012.

It would be wise to download and save a copy of Windows Essentials 2012 (Offline Installer) to a separate disk as backup.

    I've tried downloading the Windows Photo Gallery, it just doesn't seem available.

    All those years i was working happily with Windows Photo Live Gallery which also doesn't exist anymore......It appears Microsoft have simply let their clients down.

    I agree. I also do miss Windows Live Photo Gallery and I now have great trouble handling my photos. Please let Windows 10 use this program.

    Well, I continue to use WLPG combined with other tools.

    1. GeoSetter as a companion to my photography workflow for geotagging my photos.

    1. OneDrive on my mobile phone. The tags I add are saved back to the file and readable with many photo organizing applications.
    2. Custom scripts which use exiftool to write certain photo metadata, like copyright, author and some of the more common things. This is a bit more advanced, but a time saver.

    My goal is to preserve as much information I can within the photos for archiving purposes.
