Windows Live Photo Gallery replacement

Does anyone have a replacement suggestion for Windows Live Photo Gallery? Been using it for a long time. Over 60,000 pictures all with tags. Had to do a clean install of Windows 10. When I went to reinstall Windows Live Photo Gallery it states that as Jan 10th, it's no longer supported and I cannot reinstall it. So what's out there that would recognize my tags? Tried ACDSEE but it doesn't see my tags. Was hopping that there would be a seamless switch as I'm not going to live long enough to re-tag 60000 pictures.

As of this morning, February 4, 2017,

Windows Essentials 2012 download offline installer (Microsoft site) is still available.

Windows Essentials 2012

Support Ended January 10, 2017

Although support has ended, Windows Essentials 2012 programs will continue to work.

Windows Essentials 2012 contains the following programs:

Photo Gallery (Windows Photo Gallery 2012 Build 16.4.3528.331)

Movie Maker (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3528.0331)

Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Mail (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3564.1216)

OneDrive

Windows Essentials 2012 Installer installs Windows Essentials 2012 Version 16.4.3528.0331

The package shows in installed programs as Windows Essentials 2012.

It would be wise to download and save a copy of Windows Essentials 2012 (Offline Installer) to a separate disk as backup.

    Hi Josè, thank you for your suggestions! I tried exiftool and it's working fine in converting people tag, but unfortunately it seems it doesn't work with geotag, isn't it? We definitely need to find a valid replacement for WLPG, something which is free or at least not so much expensive and with the same usability (easy UI and people & geotag). I gave a check to Adobe Lightroom but they are moving to cloud and they have a Subscription approach (I definitely don't want it).

    It would be good to keep this thread open :)
