Windows Live Photo Gallery replacement

Does anyone have a replacement suggestion for Windows Live Photo Gallery? Been using it for a long time. Over 60,000 pictures all with tags. Had to do a clean install of Windows 10. When I went to reinstall Windows Live Photo Gallery it states that as Jan 10th, it's no longer supported and I cannot reinstall it. So what's out there that would recognize my tags? Tried ACDSEE but it doesn't see my tags. Was hopping that there would be a seamless switch as I'm not going to live long enough to re-tag 60000 pictures.

As of this morning, February 4, 2017,

Windows Essentials 2012 download offline installer (Microsoft site) is still available.

Windows Essentials 2012

Support Ended January 10, 2017

Although support has ended, Windows Essentials 2012 programs will continue to work.

Windows Essentials 2012 contains the following programs:

Photo Gallery (Windows Photo Gallery 2012 Build 16.4.3528.331)

Movie Maker (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3528.0331)

Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Mail (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3564.1216)

OneDrive

Windows Essentials 2012 Installer installs Windows Essentials 2012 Version 16.4.3528.0331

The package shows in installed programs as Windows Essentials 2012.

It would be wise to download and save a copy of Windows Essentials 2012 (Offline Installer) to a separate disk as backup.

    Luminar 2018 with Digital Asset Management (DAM) has not been released yet, but based on the preview video and screenshots look promising as a Windows Photo Gallery replacement.

    News Article: Macphun is Making a Lightroom Rival: Here’s a Peek at What’s Coming

    I have yet to see it in action for myself but here are some thoughts based on the article:

    • The UI seems like a blend between Windows Photo Gallery and the Windows Photos 10.
    • Tag Support
    • Albums, including Smart Albums (which may mean some "AI" smarts, although unconfirmed).
    • Star Ratings
    • Flags and Color Labels.
    • Good Image Editing features (what Luminar does well now).
    • Cloud Storage support - Hope this includes OneDrive.
    • Fast Response - This is something which I liked about WPG and have yet to seen with other photo organizers. 

    What is not seen nor confirmed:

    • Geotagging - Ability to edit GPS coordinates, IPTC Locations fields (Location, City, Province-State, Country).
    • People Tagging - Ability to identify people
    • Additional Photo Metadata Fields (Title/Description/Copyright/Author...)
    • Advanced sorting options

    Anyways, I am looking forward to its release, which seems sometime this year.

    Is windows live photo gallery or photo gallery still in Windows 8?
