Sir, I heard lumia 640 xl LTE, will support volte, in your site telling it must be activated from service provider,

In India reliance jio , is telling lumia 640xl LTE, has some OS problem, so it must be activated from Microsoft side,

As you are a Microsoft big windows OS , you must show interest in your product lumia 640 xl LTE to activate volte, and talk to reliance jio Telecom company To promote lumia 640xl mobile to get 3 months preview offers,

You can not seat quite, around 16 mobile company tied up with reliance jio, you must show interest, not reliance will show,

As we feel Microsoft company is wast ,

    I have Jio sim card. Only data is working. Not able to call and sms.

    As microsoft said jio need to configure their network for microsoft mobile.

    But Problem is that other andriod mobile dosent required any sim unlock key to activate VoLTE like microsoft. Microsoft using ##7820# code to unlock network band which would be provided by jio.

    My que is if android and iphone is working without any key then why not windows mobile.

    What is default password for ##7820#

    Mike,

    VoLTE can be started by Phone manufacturers only via toggling it through firmware update. It's entirely up to Microsoft if to activate this feature in capable phones.

    For the reason only known to them, they are not activating this feature.

    People who are or rather say were loyal to Microsoft who purchased Lumia phons despite of App Gap are banging their heads and cursing themselves for their stupidity of buying Lumia phones​ as Microsoft is not enabling VoLTE.

    This is the least Microsoft can do for their ex-loyal Customers.

    It is up to Jio to support VoLTE on Windows phones. This has been said over and over.

    T-Mobile in the Czech Republic supports VoLTE on Windows phones with their app and SIM with no update from Microsoft required.

    Link to their VoLTE information. I can not provide a translated page because it is secure https.

    https://www.t-mobile.cz/volte They support the Microsoft Lumia 550, 640 LTE, 650, 950, 950 XL directly, no firmware update required, just their app.

    Your problem is with Jio, not Microsoft as seen with this example below.

    Link in this forum from a user that used T-Mobile in Czech Republic SIM and was mad about the app that was installed and changed his phone when he installed their SIM. He did not understand he was getting VoLTE.
