Im having issues with my Bose QC35, i have successfully installed (or at least i think i did it). But i cant play any sound on them, is like they are not paired at all. After a few minutes the QC35 gets off saying there is no device available.

Just to add, the QC35 are working perfectly fine with my android phone and also other laptop with Windows 10

Bluetooth Devices:

Bose QC35 Properties:

If i go to the operation windows (right click on the BT device icon)

When i go to sound devices i cant see the QC35. (same if i try from Skype, Spotify, etc)

I have already downloaded the latest driver for the bluetooth from Dell, restarted the laptop hundred of times and also contacted Bose without luck

If anybody can shed some light on this i will very gratefull

Finally I found a couple of drivers for Windows 7 64-bit on my Lenovo X1 Carbon that worked with my Bose Quietcomfort 35...

For a couple of days I've had major problems with uninstalling the old Intel Bluetooth drivers and installing the new ones. I believe what worked for me was downloading CCleaner (as some other forum suggests) and Disable the Bluetooth startup/autostart. Then thru CCleaner I managed to remove the bluetooth drivers.

CCleaner doesnt seem to be a virus (for those of you who wonder... I did!). I have a corporate computer with Symantec Endpoint protection and it installs without any virus notification.

I was surprised when I found these drivers (that doesnt show up for me when I search with the Intel(R) Driver Update Utility tool). Try it out on your own risk of course...

I've had endless issues with this as well. Dell Latitude E7450 with the Intel bluetooth adapter, on Windows 7 Pro x64

Firstly, the Intel drivers don't install properly, the installer gets to a point where it wants to install the connection manager application, after which it fails and exits.

I ended up extracting the MSI and installing the driver manually, which worked.

Then I paired up the QC35, and it detects okay but disconnects and remains disconnected afterwards. I am unable to configure the bluetooth services.

How I solved this was by replacing the MS bluetooth stack with the Toshiba stack for non-Toshiba notebooks (http://support.toshiba.com/drivers)

The headset needs to be turned on when you start up the OS, otherwise you won't have audio. A workaround is to delete the pairing and just re-pair the QC35 with the OS.

I suspect the reason for the issues with the Windows BT stack is that Windows 7's stack implementation isn't version 4 compliant and doesn't advertise the computer name to the QC35 properly, causing the QC35 to drop the connection.

I tried the WIDCOMM stuff but that requires Broadcom/QLogic chips, and I don't believe we should be paying for stuff like BlueKitchen to get something to work that is supposed to just function out the box.

I hope this helps some of you guys out.

This works but having to reboot on reconnect is quite annoying.  Sometimes disabling and re-enabling the driver works but not all the time.  There needs to be a better work around.

    Hi Alejandro,

Hardware and software are factors to be considered for a Bluetooth device to work properly. Devices that don't speak on the same Bluetooth language will not be able to connect or pair with each other.

For us to determine the root cause of your concern, provide additional information by answering the questions below:

    • What is your device model?
    • When did the issue start?
    • Have you tried to remove ghost devices from your device manager? If not, kindly do so and see if the issue still persists. For instructions on how to remove ghost devices, refer to this link.
    • Are you using a Bluetooth dongle or does your device has an inbuilt Bluetooth chip?

We'll be waiting for your response.
