Im having issues with my Bose QC35, i have successfully installed (or at least i think i did it). But i cant play any sound on them, is like they are not paired at all. After a few minutes the QC35 gets off saying there is no device available.

Just to add, the QC35 are working perfectly fine with my android phone and also other laptop with Windows 10

Bluetooth Devices:

Bose QC35 Properties:

If i go to the operation windows (right click on the BT device icon)

When i go to sound devices i cant see the QC35. (same if i try from Skype, Spotify, etc)

I have already downloaded the latest driver for the bluetooth from Dell, restarted the laptop hundred of times and also contacted Bose without luck

If anybody can shed some light on this i will very gratefull

    Hi all,

had the similar problem, but could fix it :)

In the Device and Printer View, right click the QC35, go to services and check Headset. Ok for saving.

Double click on the QC35 and enable both operations..

This worked at least for me and I ended up with 2 playback devices.

    Cheers

    Christian

    Hi Chrissy,

I think you were not stuck at the same point as we have been. For me for example, however windows thinks it is paired and shows the QC35 in the devices list, my headphone (if you check in the bose connect app) says it doesn't have any other paired device, just my phone. Not even a disconnected one.

Also if I doubleclick the QC35 icon after checking the headset profile, I'm greeted with the same windows as when I right'click and go properties.

    • What windows version are you using?
    • What Bluetooth adapter/chip you have in the computer?
    • Did the QC35 pair for you without issues only the sound devices were missing?

    Thanks,

    Miklos

    Hi All

I'm having apparently the same problem with QC35 (BQCA is just the name that I gave the headset myself).

The device is paired, drivers installed, connected but there no mention of it in the playback devices. It is a plug and play devices, and as noted above, there are no drivers provided by Bose to be installed.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Asif

Just for the sake of clarity: I've uninstalled and installed "all the bluetooth drivers" many times to no avail.

In my case, I use the Microsoft Generic Bluetooth Adapter, which seems to be from 2006.  Is this updateable to, perhaps, support the QC35 on Windows 7?
