Im having issues with my Bose QC35, i have successfully installed (or at least i think i did it). But i cant play any sound on them, is like they are not paired at all. After a few minutes the QC35 gets off saying there is no device available.

Just to add, the QC35 are working perfectly fine with my android phone and also other laptop with Windows 10

Bluetooth Devices:

Bose QC35 Properties:

If i go to the operation windows (right click on the BT device icon)

When i go to sound devices i cant see the QC35. (same if i try from Skype, Spotify, etc)

I have already downloaded the latest driver for the bluetooth from Dell, restarted the laptop hundred of times and also contacted Bose without luck

If anybody can shed some light on this i will very gratefull

    SOLVED.

    I had the same problem.

    Lenovo X1 Carbon

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Bose QC35

    1. Downloaded the drivers from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26311/Intel-Wireless-Bluetooth-Software-for-Windows-7-?v=t
    2. Install the driver
    3. Restart the machine
    4. Pair the headphones, works like a charm

    Regards.

Hello K4rel, Im glad u can use your headphones with ur computer :) Can u please provide some additional info about your solution? You mention u uninstalled your previous bluetooth driver and then downloaded new Intel drivers. Did they work? Or did it only work with the Lenovo drivers? /BR

Greetings to all from the Czech Republic.

    I had the same problem.

When firsttime run the QC35, start Bluetooth pairing, QC35 showed in the Device List. When I have clicked on Add device it ended with error.  I was reading this forum first, then investigate myself.

PROBLEM WITH CONNECTING QC35 TO WIN7-64bit WAS IN BLUETOOTH DRIVER.

Do not search for QC drivers as propagated by moderator, that is a nonsense. Problem was in my case in Bluetooth driver installed in the system (Win 7 64bit). I have uninstalled it completely, download new BT driver from manufacturer (In my case it was chipset Intel 7260 ... oficial from Intel did "worked" in my Lenovo laptop same way ... I have uninstalled it also and finally installed similar driver from Lenovo directly. After QC35 normaly paired ...

When paired go to Devices and Printers, doublelick it and run services. Now I am finally listening music from my laptop also.

I have the same problem as many other. The computer and head phones are able to pair but not working properly. So the conclusion of the problem is that Windows 7 is missing a driver which Windows 10 has? Seems like a Microsoft problem then. When do Microsoft expect this to be solved?

    I'm using HP ZBOOK 15 with Windows 7P 64 bit.  /BR

I have a DELL Latitude E6440, and I have not been able to convince it to talk to the Quiet Comfort headset..

I have the exact same Dell model.  But what's different with my situation than it seems to be with many others is that my QC35 pairs properly (apparently) with my Latitude E6440 running Windows 7, but I'm simply unable to "connect" the device.  It will not change from the "Disconnected" setting in the "Playback" tab of sound options (yes, I've tried disabling the default speakers/headphones).

I even get as far as having the two options of listening to music or using the device for VoIP calls, but when I right- or left-click on either option, there is no functionality to the links.

And yes, I've done the update-driver-and-restart routine....
