Thank you, Manny81! I was able to update from version 1.10 to 1.20. Bose did not make the existence of its Bluetooth update page obvious to me when I went to their Website and looked up support topics. Thanks again!
Bose QuietComfort 35 not working on Windows 7 (64bit Professional)
Im having issues with my Bose QC35, i have successfully installed (or at least i think i did it). But i cant play any sound on them, is like they are not paired at all. After a few minutes the QC35 gets off saying there is no device available.
Just to add, the QC35 are working perfectly fine with my android phone and also other laptop with Windows 10
Bluetooth Devices:
Bose QC35 Properties:
If i go to the operation windows (right click on the BT device icon)
When i go to sound devices i cant see the QC35. (same if i try from Skype, Spotify, etc)
I have already downloaded the latest driver for the bluetooth from Dell, restarted the laptop hundred of times and also contacted Bose without luck
If anybody can shed some light on this i will very gratefull

2017-03-25T23:41:57+00:00 What solved my problem was updating the headphone's software, or firmware. I don't remember where I found the download link but it will take you to this site http://btu.bose.com/ and from there it will ask you to connect your headphones via USB to your PC and update it. Once mine was updated, I was able to add the Bluetooth device as usual.
Note: If you added the device, right click on it and remove it. Then added again. I had software version 1.05 and it updated to 1.20 and this fixed my issue with Windows 7. With Windows 10 I had no issues.

2017-03-25T13:14:10+00:00 I have a new Dell Precision 5510. I suspect that one of the things that may have been causing me problems getting my QC35s to work with W7 Enterprise (in addition to the general problems that others have been having with W7) was the image that my employer puts on our machines. I went to the recommended Intel download center and downloaded what looked like the appropriate Bluetooth driver for my OS. I noted that there was no previous version of such a driver to uninstall from my machine. I installed the driver, and the OS began communicating with the headphones (finally, after hours of staring at an icon of headphones in the Bluetooth environment that made it look like everything was set up correctly). The install created a funky looking icon for the QC35s in the Bluetooth environment, but I don't really care about that, and I expect that it can be changed. So, thank you for your post Charlie_82VT!
Why do these big companies (like Intel, Microsoft and DELL) make it so difficult to find the answers to problems many of their customers are having?

2017-03-24T17:03:07+00:00 I struggled with this for months. Tried all steps in all forums to no use. Then somewhere I read the solution and that worked for me. Find out what is the chipset for your bluetooth. Then go to the website for that chipset directly. In my case I went to Intel website to download the drivers. That worked like a charm. I tired upgrading the driver through microsoft or through HP (which was the make of my laptop) but that did not work for me. This works like a charm and I can make calls and listen to music without any problems.

2017-03-13T18:56:45+00:00 Hi Andy,
I have also been looking for a solution since months.
I tried your workaround first, but could not get past step 11. Whenever I clicked on OK, the same message would just pop-up again and again. Maybe it was because I have a built-in and not USB type Bluetooth adapter?
But then I tried the WIDCOMM Bluetooth Driver you are offering on your site and ... yes, it works! Incredible! Thank you!
Just a small warning to everyone: The driver automatically installs some small "EasyBits" games without asking. They seem to be harmless, but nevertheless I deleted them afterwards from the WIDCOMM directory.
Best regards
Michael
