Im having issues with my Bose QC35, i have successfully installed (or at least i think i did it). But i cant play any sound on them, is like they are not paired at all. After a few minutes the QC35 gets off saying there is no device available.

Just to add, the QC35 are working perfectly fine with my android phone and also other laptop with Windows 10

Bluetooth Devices:

Bose QC35 Properties:

If i go to the operation windows (right click on the BT device icon)

When i go to sound devices i cant see the QC35. (same if i try from Skype, Spotify, etc)

I have already downloaded the latest driver for the bluetooth from Dell, restarted the laptop hundred of times and also contacted Bose without luck

If anybody can shed some light on this i will very gratefull

    Hi,

To properly isolate your concern, we need the following information:

    1. Have you tried the previous solutions provided by Jamille Nar?
    2. Have you made any changes on your Windows 7 device prior to this concern?

You may also get in touch with your headphone's manufacturer to verify if Bose QuietComfort 35 can work with a device running on a Windows-7 platform, by clicking this link: BOSE - Contact Us.

    Keep us posted.

    Hi Pual,

I tried all the proposed solutions with no luck.

I haven't made any changes to my windows 7 device prior to this concern.

Apparently Bose says that they don't have any audio drivers for their headphones. The problem seems to be that my bluetooth device gets reognized, but doesn't show up in sound section. Please see below. What is the problem behind this behavior.

Finally I found a couple of drivers for Windows 7 64-bit on my Lenovo X1 Carbon that worked with my Bose Quietcomfort 35...

For a couple of days I've had major problems with uninstalling the old Intel Bluetooth drivers and installing the new ones. I believe what worked for me was downloading CCleaner (as some other forum suggests) and Disable the Bluetooth startup/autostart. Then thru CCleaner I managed to remove the bluetooth drivers.

CCleaner doesnt seem to be a virus (for those of you who wonder... I did!). I have a corporate computer with Symantec Endpoint protection and it installs without any virus notification.

I was surprised when I found these drivers (that doesnt show up for me when I search with the Intel(R) Driver Update Utility tool). Try it out on your own risk of course...

There are no drivers supplied from Bose.  Verified with their helpdesk.

    Hi all,

had the similar problem, but could fix it :)

In the Device and Printer View, right click the QC35, go to services and check Headset. Ok for saving.

Double click on the QC35 and enable both operations..

This worked at least for me and I ended up with 2 playback devices.

    Cheers

    Christian

You might also want to check on your play devices settings because Windows 7 will not show playback or recording devices by default because they are under the disabled devices.

Follow the steps below to enable the disabled devices:

    1. Search for Control Panel on the search bar on your computer.
    2. Click on Hardware and Sound category.
    3. Choose the Manage audio devices under the Sound option**.**
    4. On the top of the Sound window, click on the either the Playback or Recording tab.
    5. Right-click anywhere in the box where the devices are listed.
    6. Click on Show Disabled Devices so there is a check mark next to it.
    7. Right-click on any grayed-out icons and then select Properties.
    8. Click on the drop down menu beside "Device usage:".
    9. Select on Use this device (enable).
    10. Click OK.

You may also try to update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly by following the steps on this link.

    Thanks.
