I accidently uninstalled Windows Defender for Windows 10. How do I reinstall it?

    Hi

    I have tried to start 'windows defender services' through typing "services.msc" in Run window and I got the following message:

    Error 577: widows can not verify signature ....

    what should I do now?

    If you have Defender  & have Viper for Antivirus Can you keep Defender

    I get this error as well. Because the digital signature cannot be verified resulting in Defender failing to start, Windows Update cannot install updates for Defender!! So I now have a failing update that won't go away!!
