Just to be clear, If I have a pc with Win 7 professional that I am willing to dedicate as my "Zune Updater" do I still need to create a separate partition? Or can I just follow the rest of the steps?

    Thanks!!

    Dave

Thank you so much for this solution. Your package revived my years-old Zune 30 at last :D

At least, the Zune software now recognizes my Zune 30 again.

    Still not working.

I got Abyss Web Server installed at C:\Abyss Web Server

    It's reporting:

Default Host On Port 80 Running

(By the way for others the Windows Service "World Wide Web Publising Service" occupies port 80, stop it to get Abyss working on port 80)

In C:\Abyss Web Server\htdocs is the 4 cab files and zuneprod.xml in C:\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\Firmware\v4_5

My hosts file has "127.0.0.1 resources.zune.net"

    Any idea's?
