for all you guys that need to restore your zune. ya need to do a 20 gigs partition with win 7 ultimate updated +.net framework all versions installed + zune software 4.8 + firmware update installing msi (x86 or x64)  :

update 04/09/2016 :

  1. make a 20 gigs partition on  hdd
  2. .install win 7 ultimate edition 
  3. install net framework 3.5.1 + all win 7 updates.

4 . install zune software 4.8 and zune firmware msi- (x86 obviously in 32 bit or -x64 in 64 bit system)

  1. plug the zune to computer. it will be downloading the last version of zune drivers
  2. start zune software and update screen will be displaying in main zune softs screen . thats it. 

when you double click zune  firmware-x86 or x64 the msi package install FW .cab files in: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Zune\Firmware Updates 

and firmware update.xml emulates online mode for restoring ;D 

EDIT: FIRMWARE OFFLINE RECOVERY WILL WORK ONLY ON WIN 7.

    Hi, guys...

    I worked both of my jobs today, but I am watching Francisco's video right now. I am very encouraged by Electron Entanglement's success. Thanks, everyone for being willing to help me, and especially thanks to Francisco Coca for coming up with the solution so many of us were waiting for!

    Because I am also working both jobs on Thursday, I won't be able to try it again until Friday night or Saturday morning. I will let you all know what happens!

    Hi, Francisco...

    I decided to start over. I will only be able to do a little bit tonight. 

    There is something I don't understand: I downloaded both Microsoft.net 3.5 and 4.6. (My computer wouldn't let me download 4.0 or 4.1. It said I already had an equal or later version, so I downloaded 4.6.1.) I looked in my Control Panel and 4.6.1 is listed, but I can't find and run the program. When I go into "Turn on and off Windows Features," 3.5 is listed there, which I completely enabled, but 4.6.1 is not there. What is going on?

    ok. in my case im running on win 10 OS. win 10 allows you to enable net 3.5 (4.x its installed by default ) whe n you turn on feature windows downloads and installs the net files needed package. we only need those files on system to abyss web server for properly running. install win 7 all in one installers (aio not from microsoft but with all net framework versions included. obviousty if yar running win 7  ) .

    its not mandatory to have 4.6.1 net framework files installed. we need to enable 3.5 and keep working the preinstalled 4.X . those 2 net versions are enough to do lots of things (installing old software and some other things)
