Windows 10 Mobile update for BLU Win HD LTE (X150E)

When will be Windows 10 Mobile available for BLU Win HD LTE (X150E) and why it has not been released while update is available for X150Q and there are no hardware differences between the two, other than network bands ?

Since there are no hardware differences, performance will not be affected as reason given by Microsoft for excluding some phones from the update.

Good news! Blu confirmed that Both Blu win HD lte and jr lte of Europe version are eligible for windows 10 upgrade. Currently Blu win HD (non lte) is only eligible for upgrade. Whereas Blu win HD lte U S has many bug fixes and they are solving these while e version update is on hold.

    This is to inform all of you on this post that finally Windows 10 mobile upgrade is available to Blu win HD LTE x150e. Here are the steps 

    1. Install WIndows Device Recovery Tool onto your pc or laptop.
    2. After Launching the tool select My device Was not detected.
    3. Then select the manufacturer BLU. Select the Model BLU WIN HD LTE.

    4)Click on Install Software where it wil ask to download latest win 8.1 recovery image which contains new firmware.Download complete  BLU_WIN_HD_LTE_x150q_00150.04717.20001.15013_RETAIL_FLASH_20160226_00150.04717.20001.15013.ffu image.

    5)Now turn off the phone. Press the power button and immediately after vibrating press and hold volume up button till   you will see flashing icon and spinning wheel. This will be flashing mode.

    6)Now connect your phone to the pc via usb cable in the flashing mode.

    7)Again Launch the app. Select Manufacturer BLU-Model-Blu win HD LTE.Click on Install software. This time you will see the battery icon.Make sure that battery is almost 25% charged and follow the onscreen instructions. Now flashing will begin and  once completed the language screen will appear. This will change the  firmware from 15009 to 15013.

    8)Now go the windows store and download Upgrade Advisor app and run. IT will check for the upgrade and  finally says the upgrade is available. Tick on  Enable Windows 10 Upgrade. Now the app will be checking for the updates.

    9)Finally go the settings and check for the updates.The update will be available.

    Same here. Replaced my Lumia 635 for Blu Win HD LTE X150E in order to get Windows 10. Still no news, no updates, no answers... It's getting annoying not being able to get the most of what we paid for...

    Additionally, he posted a short HowTo for updating your Blu Win HD LTE x150e to Win 10.

    But be careful, many people (including me) lost their phone-functionality after following the manual.

    Hi guys...let us all collectively ask BLU either to give a deadline for the update or be ready to face Consumer Forums of many countries. Because the only reason we bought this phone was beacauseit was advertised as "Upgradable to Windows 10 Mobile".

    Let us all colectively follow some simple steps to make them realise that we are not ready to get fooled.

    Let's create a WhatsApp group (it would be easier to communicate) and decide there what an email to be sent to BLU and Microsoft collectively (more people, more chances of good response).

    These are very simple steps. If you are ready, please email your Name, Country, Mobile number (with country code) with which you use WhatsApp to ******@gmail.com

    Edit: Just read a response on the thread with BLU giving a satisfactory answer that they are working on the upgrade.
