Hey all,
we have started rolling out a new firmware update for Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL: 01078.00038.16025.390xx. Key improvements in this release include:
The availability of this update may depend on your phone model, region or network service provider. At the time of writing this post, the update is available mainly for selected open market variants, but the rollouts should continue gradually during the coming days and weeks.
Windows 10 is updating continuously, so make sure you follow all the update notifications that appear on your phone. To check for updates, you can also tap Settings > Update & security > Phone update > Check for updates. For detailed update instructions, see.
If you are a Windows Insider user, see. Note: this does not affect general firmware availability.
To read more about the new features included in Windows 10 Mobile, see What's New in Windows 10 Mobile.

Hi armagonfin,

Then how is it possible that People with a 950 XL Dual-Sim got the update? The 950 XL DS is not listed above, but got it too.
Hey guys,
firmware update rollouts are indeed still not complete. One reason for the perhaps slower than expected progress is that we want to monitor and ensure the quality of the release, and get the 10.0.10586.107 OS update rolling out (it contains several improvements for e.g. the phone software update system itself). This OS release was announced last night, see.
Armagonfin:
Is this same release that was issued to the Insiders last week? The phone says it running the same build.
The only thing that seems not to be working correctly, is the Wi-Fi driver. The phone connects to my home network, but will does not get access to the internet. It always takes a hard reboot to get the phone to reconnect to the Wi-Fi system with internet access. Then, all of sudden you are blasted with all the notifications since the last Wi-Fi connection. Some notifications just do not pass while in cellular data mode "LTE". Which seems strange because there are no adjustments in the settings.
This clearly was not how the phone operated until a couple of weeks ago. There have been several other updates to the firmware as well. You have look at the phone to see if it is LTE or Wi-Fi even while in known network locations. Additionally, all are set to connect automatically.
Any help would be appreciated.
Windows "Insiders Release Preview" after last updates as in the "Production" lane.
Lumia 950xl Dual Sim, USA AT&T network
Carrier: NAM CV (whatever that means)
Version: 1511
OS Build: 10.0.10586.107
Firmware: 01078.00027/15506.02005
Hardware Revision: 4.0.3.1
Is there any eta for when we will start seeing official updates on AT&T branded 950's?
Flac playback is still broken with the 10.0.10586.107 release of the OS. All Flac related problems for x86/x64 systems were resolved as of the 1511 release of Windows 10.
Windows 10 x86/x64 (1511) can now correctly play back 5.1 channel Flac files and high resolution ALAC audio files which is quite impressive.
It looks like there is an ARM platform problem that breaks Flac playback on Windows 10 Mobile, perhaps due to GPU usage?
Would be nice to get this resolved.
I have implemented my own player using a C++ implementation on ARM that works without issue. It's a rather long way to go to get something that works. Please fix this for the wider community of users.
