Here is how I made the AR3012 working again on Windows 10 20H1.

remove AR3012 & its drivers completely from 20H1, later let 20H1 detect it as Generic Bluetooth Radio.
download Qualcomm driver v10.0.1.15 from Microsoft Catalog website, install this driver via driver upgrade.
after v10.0.1.15 being installed, you might see additional device named in "Bluetooth LE" as the one in the Kirill's figure.
try to connect any BT device you couldn't connect after upgrading to 20H1, make sure the AR3012 really WORKS.
then download any Qualcomm driver v10.0.3.x (as Kirill mentioned, the newest one is v10.0.3.22, or let Windows Update do it later), upgrade the driver of AR3012 again with this one.

Notice: NEVER uninstall the v10.0.1.15 while/after upgrading to v10.0.3.x, or the AR3012 will fail again after reboot.

Microsoft Generic Bluetooth Driver -> Qualcomm BT driver v10.0.1.15 -> Qualcomm BT driver v10.0.3.x,

if you did followed the steps, your AR3012 should be working as usual, even after reboot.

I guess the "Bluetooth LE" is the critical point of this issue.

(I DID hate the crappy W10...... what's M$ doing now? let users recall how windows unstable in 1990s? )

NOTE by MELERIX: by the way, as it is an older driver, it does not support the new Windows 10 shutdown mode called fast startup*, so every time you shut down Windows and then restart it, the device appears with an error, so you have to* disable the fast startup of Windows 10*, in the power options of the control panel.*

How recent was your update to the current version of Windows 10?

Which version and edition Windows did you originally upgrade from or was installed prior to your current version:

Windows 10 - 1703, 1607, 1511, 1507 (build 10240)

Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Windows 8.0 Core, Windows 8.1 Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8.0 Pro, Windows 8.1 Pro

There seems to be some early adopter issues at this time with Windows 10 1709, if you can, I recommend you downgrade to your previous version until the Fall Creators Update matures with future cumulative updates.

Open Start > Settings > Update & security > Recovery > under Go back to my previous version of Windows 10, click Get started.

If you are unable to do it from the desktop

Press Control + Alt + Delete

Click Sign out

At the Sign In screen, hold down the shift key on your keyboard while clicking the Power button on the screen

Continue to hold down the shift key while clicking Restart

Continue to hold down the shift key until the Advanced Recovery Options menu appears

Click Troubleshoot

Click Advanced options

Click Go back to the previous version of Windows

If the problem persists or you can’t rollback, I recommend downgrading to Windows 10 1703.

I am going to recommend you downgrade to Windows 10 1703.

Step 1: download Windows 10 1703 from the following link:

- Windows 10 Pro + Home

- x64 (64 bit) x32 (32 bit)
Step 2: create a bootable copy

You should backup your files before downgrading.

Applications will need to be reinstalled.

The custom install will archive your files, so you can recover them from the Windows.old folder - make sure you follow the instructions to the letter.

There are some compatibility issues with Windows 10 version 1709 and certain hardware or software. There is no explanation why a lot of these problems are happening in Windows 10 1709, but the release is significantly flawed. Software and Hardware that once worked in previous versions, just suddenly stops working in Windows 10 1709 after an upgrade and sometimes loses functionality or stability.

If you don't want to do this, you can wait it out until April 10th and upgrade to Windows 10 1803 to see if it works better.

HI, I need help with my bluetooth in windows 10.

PC: MSI GS60 2QE , bluetooth Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 4.0 , driver 10.0.1.14

I did all the things i could find online, troubleshooter from windows page, update driver, uninstall, etc..

My problem is this:

Computer shows all ok, bluetooth with no issues, working properly, but i cannot add any device (nothing found) and also PC not visible to any device (i tried to find it with phones or bluetooth headsets)

Before update to win 10 all worked ok, no bluetooth since then.

What else should i try?

Hello

It is still not resolved.

System File Checker found no missing or corrupted files.

The bluetooth driver gets disabled by windows 10 for 9 out of 10 times after reboot.

The bluetooth driver never gets disabled by Ubuntu 16.04.

Screenshot shows both results from SFC and the current state of Bluetooth (when re-enabled manually)
