You can do this by typing the following commands in the Command Prompt. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. Let us check the system Files to see the corruption in the same.To do this do both of these: Perform System File Check (SFC) Follow the steps: a. Press “Windows Key + Q” to open search Bar. b. Type “ cmd ” without quotes in the search box. c. On the left pane, right click on the “ cmd ” option and select “Run as Administrator”. d. Type ‘ sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter. run the System update readiness command. It detects incorrect manifests, cabinets or registry data, it may replace the incorrect data with corrected version available. Follow the steps. Press Windows key + X . Click command prompt (Run as administrator) . In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands. Press Enter key after each command: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type Exit , and then press Enter . I just finished installing Windows 10 on my SonyVaio 2012 computer. I had it install before and lost it after doing an update. I bought a new computer because of a good deal but still wanted Windows 10 on my old one. Tried 3 or 4 times kept kicking out at 40%. I then tried a more direct way and the updater said Norton AntiVirus needs to be uninstalled. After I did that it install without a hitch and works great. Some people don't like Windows 10 because of all the tracking it does but then there is no perfect way from being tracked as long as you use a computer. Beats buying a computer every 3 or for years. Besides, you don't have to be the first one out of the gate to buy the news fade. Let the rich people do that and take the first hit. They have the bucks to spend that we don't.

Unfortunately I don't speak or write in anything other than English (America) and if there is a translator don't know how to use it It's Finnish man! Geez use the damn Translator! She's asking why stop BITS if it's already stopped and she can't look it up in Finnish because of the interpretation of the search she is using,google or bing.She didn't say. A better fix until it HAPPENS AGAIN is to just refresh the OS,keep or don't keep your files!!! :P No need to mess with the registry,one typo and you have a BRICK on your hands! Quick fix use an .iso or Disk for Windows 10,no more brick either! :P Why all this BS do this do that when the problem obviously hasn't been fixed at all by MS.It only gets temporarily fixed with the next update! This should have been solved YEARS AGO!!! Now to let Her know about a better solution than that registry crap. Yes I used google translator! It works well enough to get the gist of what your trying to convey! ;)

Microsoft posted that the issue with Updates was at their end. many thanks Mike Grant If this is resolved then why is MY PC still doing this every few weeks or days,right after refreshing or even a total reinstall!??? I'm sure getting sync attempts doesn't help as MS Techs. swear they never get in yet recommended you reinstall!??? Yeah right man! :P More lies!??? Something gets in and wreaks havoc and it doesn't take them long to know you've reinstalled,as I have been hit right after doing so.Within seconds!!! I had to get rid of my files,IE. Refresh or a total Reinstall of the OS from scratch.without my files and start from scratch on an Alienware,it takes time to get everything back and a pain in the butt too! This BS occurs after any sync attempt,or even checking an email to see if it's legitimate.Never click on any link!!! I'll check to see if it has occurred every few hours.Sometimes nothing,most of the time there's 2-9 attempts on my PC.And sometimes right after turning it on!??? They did get into it!!! LIARS! That's when I know it's time to refresh this poor thing.I'm not about to have another Laptop burn out years ahead of MY lifetime! ;) It was so bad it ruined one HDD in 6 Months and the so called GLUE that hold things together on a CQ56 is a joke! I would like to inform you that this issue may occur due to Windows update is corrupt. I would recommend you to reset the windows update component manually. Let us check the system Files to see the corruption in the same.To do this do both of these:
