Lumia 650 loses Wi-Fi connectivity until reboot

With my new Lumia 650 running Windows 10, I have a serious problem with Wi-Fi, occurring daily.

At some point the device becomes unable to connect to any Wi-Fi access point, whether previously known or discovered with Wi-Fi Sense. I have observed this both with WPA access points at home and at work, and also with unencrypted public hotspots in the city.

In the Wi-Fi settings screen, I can see it repeatedly attempts to connect to one of the access points available for automatic connection, but then reverts to disconnected state.

Turning Wi-Fi off and on again does not solve the problem. Only after turning the device off and on again it becomes able to connect.

Did anyone else encounter this problem?

    Me too.

Randomly the Wifi connection get's dropped (ever 1-2 days) and re-connecting is only possible after rebooting the Lumia 650. I tried with different Wifi networks at 2,4 Ghz.

When the Lumia 650 looses the connction to the Wifi it's trying to reconnect  all the time and the battery is getting empty -> Reboot -> Wifi connects without problems.

    Microsoft: Please fix this bug.

    Me as well!!!

It looks as though I'm going to have to buy an android. Very disappointed with Microsoft on this issue. Promised so much, then leaves the game.

OK... I have a similar problem on my mMS L650, too. Only my phone NEVER did connect to any public WIFI Service. As offered by my city downtown which is an asset. And tho this is only one issue, my service recently dropped ALL Windows Phones and products.

They were unable to offer me any help, tho before W10, the W8.1 responded to the help they could offer. I cannot find password Assistance for open public sites. But thought I did not need a password for public wifi. This is a smartphone, not a PC. Virtual Assistant can never make this distinction. Please help.
