Zune Marketplace disappeared today

One of the greatest pieces of tech that Microsoft ever made is now maligned to the junk-drawer of history.  So long Zune, I WILL miss you.

I'm out of tricks too.  I've previously had this same kind of trouble downloading, but usually I can get it to work by just sort of fooling around, logging in and out, killing the Zune software, etc, but none of my usual tricks have made a difference.  Always the same error (C101A003), which indicates that the server time and my system time don't match.  If the first thing the software attempts when downloading a song is try to sync the system times, then this error would pop up if MS took the servers down.

I think this is the end, guys.  Sucks.  It's been a pleasure Zuneing with you.

I've been using Groove for the last several months.  It's not as good as Zune, but easily worth the $9.99/month I was paying for Zune.

So the last two times I synced my Zunes to the Marketplace software, most of my DRM music updated and I was able to play these songs in the car. it went away after about 3-4 days and then I sync again and same result. The question that I have is why does Microsoft still update Marketplace with current offerings each week? Sheryl Crow, Incubus, Kendrick Lamar, etc... If the service is down then are they just going to continue updating this software or is it really down and have we lost the trick how to download and play...I also notice in my account that I am still be billed for Zune Pass expiring each month on the 21st.  I know they are  offering the non quality Groove service but I inquired that I would be cancelling if Zune no longer available. There are some experts out there who Post on the Microsoft community that will have a better answer. Please respond! not ready to retire my Zune yet!!

So an update. I can still log into Zune software, but aside from seeing the account details about my subscription and which devices are authorized, there's not much I can do.

I can no longer play previously downloaded music from the computer; I'm pretty that used to play before my last post,  but not anymore.

I can still not download new tracks. But now, I can no longer drag DRM music from my collection to certain (maybe all) players, and those players' tracks usage rights have expired despite syncing. So those units are useless until I load some non-DRM music.

I do have one computer and one player that are authorized. So far I can still play tracks on that one Zune device (fortunately a 64Gb HD), but I'm assuming that may go away when the tracks' licenses expire.

Groove still works, and I guess I'll have to adopt the Groove app for my iPhone for mobile listening. I'm not sure I can download tracks to this mobile device for offline listening like I can for my computer.

I assume this isn't going to change, so now I have a subscription until February 2018 that is seriously compromised. No more 120Gb,  30Gb, and 16Gb Zunes loaded with listenable DRM tunes. And I'm assuming my 64Gb will go away, too.

If anyone else is still alive and "listening" in this Zune wasteland, let me know. I'm out of tricks.
