Hey folks, We are starting to rollout a new firmware update today for Lumia 950 / 950 XL : 01078.00053.16236.35xxx . Key improvements in this release include: Wi-Fi connectivity improvements, including fixes for Wi-Fi connection dropping randomly and Wi-Fi scan occasionally not returning any results. Support for double tap to wake enabled. Bluetooth connectivity improvements. Stability and reliability improvements. Camera improvements, including improved image and video quality, improved Auto-focus and fix for a problem that was causing slow motion capture to skip frames for some users. Cellular connectivity improvements, including fix for a problem that caused occasional network loss for some users. Audio quality improvements, including fix for a problem that caused voice call audio to get scrambled for some users. The availability of the update may depend on your phone model, region or network service provider. Starting today, the update should become available for the first batch of phones and the remaining ones are expected to receive the update gradually. Windows 10 is updating continuously, so make sure you follow all the update notifications that appear on your phone. You're so lucky! I had hoped for one second there was one for my phone as well but no. It seems some models were able to have not one firmware update but two (as for the IMEA A7 CV ) in one month. i am getting a tad impatient :(

I am getting quite irate that MSoft can't even answer our questions. WE bought these devices and shelled out a large sum of money for what was a bland device. Despite shelling out and hoping W10M is going to take off, they can't give us a straight answer, be that tech issues/carrier approval for branded devices/problems with the update ( many posts on WC about battery! ) / can't be bothered or what ever. Why have EE UK got theirs and every 950 in 000GB and 000FR? Could anyone enlighten us and NOT give the bog standard printed answer as supplied to Customer Services!! My last contact with Customer services told me I'd get it on the 9th with the AU!! LOL!! I'm not bothered with DTTW, As a taxi company, my drivers need the Bluetooth, network and WiFi connect improvements! I've got 14 devices for drivers. 4 950xl's ( got a couple cheap!) 950's etc down to a couple of 550's. That's enough money invested that I could have bought 2 iPhones ;-). That's why I have the **** ache with it!

I wish there was more transparency, but it can be a double-edged sword of sorts. Imagine if MS posted a schedule - how do you think peeps would react if that "schedule" was missed? I'm just speculating in a vacuum at this point ( see what I did there?).
