Missing MSVCP120.dll file

Upon startup or trying to install a new program I get a message saying that the install can't be completed or the system is missing the MSVCP120.dll file and it must be reinstalled. I have found two programs that I have tried to uninstall but when I have tried to do this it tells me they can't be uninstalled because this same file is missing!! What can I do?? I am running Windows 7, with Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64)-12.0. I have a Toshiba Satellite A505. I have run McAfee and nothing shows up. I have also cleared temp files.

    Every Sims 4 game, update, patch, DLC contains a folder __Installer.

    In that folder you find a folder vc

    In the folder vc you have 2 folders: vc2013 and vc2010sp1

    Each of these folders contains a folder redist.

    Open these redist folders and run vcredit_x64.exe AND vcredist_x86.exe

    Way to techie for me --- gave up trying to do what I was trying to accomplish.  

    Thanks for your help with the issue --- gave MS sour apples for their system problems.

    I had the same issue with one machine while it was working on another.

    The event log was also showing the faulting module is msvcp120.dll.

    I tried installing VC++ redis. 2013, but it didn't work.

    So, I copied msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll to c:\windows\SysWoW64 folder. It worked.
