How to undo a "scheduled folder"

So, on my phone, I accidentally made one of my folders "scheduled."  Now that folder has a clock next to it's name instead of a folder icon.  I don't know what I did to make that happen.  I don't know what a "scheduled" folder is.  I don't know what benefits I get from having a "scheduled" folder, but I don't want it to be that way.  In fact, I attempted to delete the folder on the outlook.com web app, but the "scheduled" folder continues to appear on my Android Outlook (formerly Acompli) app.  

Can anyone tell me how to undo what I've done?  And can anyone point me to any documentation which would explain what a "scheduled" folder is and why I might want one?

    You don't need a screen shot...you need to tell us how to use your non-intuitive scarcely documented "scheduled" feature. I am having the same problem. Accidentally set a folder as scheduled now cannot change it. Thanks!

    Here's a screenshot of how this looks for me, when I expand my folders list to show all.

    When the list is collapsed (default), the clock icon appears next to the Scheduled label.

    I accidentally scheduled a folder 'X'.

    To remove the-schedule tag from folder  'X' I set up a new folder 'Scheduled' in outlook on my PC. On my tablet I clicked on the settings icon on the top right hand side of the Outlook app, clicked on my internet account,, clicked on advanced settings and finally on scheduled. All of my folders were displayed. I selected the new folder 'Scheduled' and this then became the scheduled folder and the 'scheduled' tag was dropped from folder 'X'.

    For some reason they make you have a default folder for scheduled emails. You can create a garbage folder if you don't want scheduling and make that folder your default. (I set mine to Missed Conversations for Lync/Skype for Business)

    In Outlook on phone, open your inbox and select the settings icon on the top right. Under accounts select your account, if you have multiple accounts.  Select Advanced Settings and you will see Scheduled under system folders. Select Scheduled and choose the new garbage folder and ok.

    That's all. You will still see Scheduled in your list but non of your emails will be affected.
