Lumia 950 battery drains rapidly

I got my Lumia 950 on the first day that it was available and after installing my regular stuff, it worked great, with a battery life of 3 to 4 days; the next charge lasted the same, and the next.  I haven't changed ANYTHING, but as of a couple of days ago, the phone gets hot and the battery life is only about 7 hours.  I now also get a message that the phone is out of memory after I charge it (garbage message since when I check the available memory, there is 24GB available).

Both of these items seem to be caused by some recent update, or something else that I did not initiate.  Don't give me any hints about changing my settings to improve the battery life; this is a firmware issue that was pushed on me, and NOT some setting that I have made.

Microsoft, please fix it, or put it back to the way it was.

I did a system reset and turned off the Glance Screen and now it is working much better.  But again, Microsoft needs to find a solution for this.  If I turn on the Glance screen, it drains the battery and the phone gets really hot.  I know keep the Glance screen off until Microsoft fixes it.  

Everything else is running normal.

Stop making excuses. This shouldnt be happening. Msft should provide us with an explanation and a fix

I guess the benefit is the battery is replaceable. I had the 930 and it was a fast drainer so i updated to the 950. Also my phone seems to be slower and less responsive than the 930, possibly software?! Even typing this i was watching the text catch up for about 10 seconds after finishing.

This is NOT a solution, just aт observation results!

OS update

Last 24hrs I got 10586.29 build (update taking about 2-3hrs, don't know why so long) and still battery drains faster then light, BUT! At night battery drains only 2-3%. It was just a stand by mode, so background apps and other was actually turned on.

That is much-much better, still not perfect, but better.

Software update

Email, calendar, messaging and other built-in apps are updating almost every day (seriously, last three days - three updates for each of built-in apps). And now looks like that apps eating a little less battery. 10-20 minutes of emailing or planning in calendar eats ~5-10% instead of ~10-15%.

Once again, that is not a perfect yet, but much better than before.

Stats after update

For now is 15h 36m since last charge and there is 37% left. There were 2-3 times of active use for 5-15 minutes, and all the time: background apps is on, wi-fi is on, bluetooth is on, location is on, 4G is on, battery saver is off.

Average discharging rate now is 3-6% instead of 8-12%.

Summary

Looks like MS is working on OS and software updates, and optimization is in progress.

If you want/can to wait, then you should just wait for an updates (and constantly report any problems or positive feedback to MS and community).

P.S. I had not any problems with an update, it just was really slow and phone was hot as **** while updating (I got 10Gb free in storage and no sd-card).
