Lumia 950 battery drains rapidly

My Lumia 950 was at 95% battery today.  I had it in my pocket for 2 hours and didn't take it out once or use it in any ways.  After 2 hours I pulled my phone out and it was at 72% and it felt very hot.  Is this the experience others are having with their Lumia 950 or does this sound like I may have a defective phone and/or battery?

    Download "The Battery App" (green symbol) from The App Store- cleared problem right up for me...

    I had Hello turned off and was having the problem before i reset. I did have Hey Cortana. turned on though. I haven't turned it on since the reset.

    Full backup, Reset, restore, add back apps, check for update, get the .29 update, initialize apps, all is good. Even while pounding on apps firing them up and getting logged in, phone did not get warm. When idle it is now stone cold.

    Not fun, but it looks like a full reset has done the trick for me, too.

    I did the reset tonight..  I got the WP update download to start and install and all apps downloaded successfully.  I'm a few hours in but the battery already seems to be better.  I guess we'll see what happens overnight. 

    The one thing I haven't done yet (and not sure I will) is set-up Hello.  I can't be sure that it was a problem, but when all my problems started it stopped working.

    I hate that this was / is the solution.

    My lumia 950 is getting very hot and battery drains very quickly. It stays hot even when it in pocket. Battery goes draining when in use. I very disappointed with the battery life.

    I was, also, encountering rapid discharge, heat, etc.. Downloaded "Battery App" (Green symbol) from Store. Worked great , cleared up problem- now battery goes 1 1/2 days per charge!
