The easiest way to make sub folders reappear is to create a blank folder in the same location ( any name ) then delete it , and afterwards sub folders that were previously not visible reappear . This worked for me and many others

Brilliant Jiggy1 - that is how I also worked around it and works well, with Live Mail now working without a hitch as it did in the past, in contrast to the new Windows 10 Mail client where the folders do not sync no matter how you try it. I am happy with Live Mail and have no need for change now that it is working well again.

There are still issues which I encounter and  have listed them  on other threads, some with solutions

    1. Font changes on headers on launching mail with new emails
    2. The Message 'sent to' column STILL shows the recipients name with the account column empty ( I cure this by moving each mail to the junk folder and back again but it creates 2 emails one of which I then delete )
    3. My folders and sub folders  sometimes disappear from time to time, which I am able to make visible again by creating an empty folder with any name and then delete it (in the same location). This makes the folder re appear normally again !
    4. Emails sent take ages to appear in the sent folder , and don't show in the outbox , they are in limbo somewhere ???

The most recent update you sent out via "updates" for Live Email killed my account sync. I checked emails on line using the web view and see emails that ARE NOT arriving in my accounts in LIVE EMAIL. The most recent update for LIVE Mail has not corrected any issues, and my mail is not syncing nor is it arriving in my LIVE EMAIL account. Does MS plan on fixing this? I have a Dell with Windows 7. It is suppose to work for W7, and your update makes matters worse. Now how do I get rid of the update?
